In this case it may be due to a serious medical condition or advanced age. In this case the animal is kept by a member of RADAR and remains the property of RADAR.

Once a home has been approved and all the required work has been completed and the animal has passed its minimum of two weeks quarantine the animals are offered for placement for a remibursement fee for vet work completed at an approximate cost of $320 for most puppies and $300 for dogs. $110 for most cats and kittens.Payment can be made direct into the RADAR bank account listed below or by a cheque made out to

To be eligible to adopt a RADAR foster you need to satisfy RADAR that you are able to provide a loving, suitable and safe environment for the life of the pet. This includes training, housing, veterinary care, socialisation and time. It is only to secure the best outcome for the animal. If you are a rental tennant you will need to seek permission from your landlord to have the animal.

For RADAR to place an animal on hold you will need to pay a $50 holding fee which is a part of the adoption reimbursmnet. This will secure the animal for you to adopt. The balance must be paid prior to the snimal leaving RADAR.

When the animal leaves care it will have with it all relevant documents, vet certificates, microchip information etc.

If at all you decide within a two week period that the animal is not working out you can return the animal to RADAR and be refunded. If after the two week period we will of course accept the animal back or try to help you find an alternative carer/home but you cannot claim a refund.

It is with the best knowledge from our vets and carer and other advisors occasionally sought that all animals are rehomed in a sound and healthy state. We make no quarrantee that there is no underlying issue that may appear in months or years time. We also make no claim that the breeds stated are pure, or absolutely correct. We go on information provided to us from where they came, observations of teh carers and our vet. We also do contact breeders if we think a certain breed may be involved to try and ascertain a breed in the animal. As these animals are often babies we try to estimate what size they will be and what they will look like. With older animals we are very careful to be sure they are assessed for agression and suitability to rehome as we will not rehome an animal that is of questionable temperament.

RADAR carers love to keep contact with the adotpive families and the progress of their former foster animals, however RADAR also respects your right to privacy. A couple of weeks after the animal has been placed into care you will recieve contact from the former carer to check and see if all is going well and if you need any help with any issues.

Most of all we want a happy outcome for all
